Augustus Tack "The Deposition of the Cross"
Preservation/Restoration/Re-Display Project
The Friends of Deerfield, is pleased to announce that the jewel altarpiece of the former St James Church, Augustus Vincent Tack's "The Deposition from the Cross" 100-year-old large oil painting mural will be fully restored and redisplayed in Deerfield during 2026. Anyone interested in participating in this historical preservation project and any supporters who might be early lead donors should immediately contact Friends of Deerfield via email.
